SEPT. 15-16: SPOON, DJ SHADOW, THIEVERY CORP., MORE PLAY TREASURE ISLAND, S.F.

Spoon, Modest Mouse, M.I.A., DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Thievery Corporation, Zion I, Earlimart, Built to Spill and M. Ward are slated to perform at San Francisco's Treasure Island this year for the very first Treasure Island Music Festival, taking place September 15 and 16. More artists will be announced soon.
The event is organized by the Noise Pop Festival peeps and Berkeley-based production company Another Planet Entertainment. Treasure Island fest will also feature exhibits by local artists and designers and educational information about greening initiatives and conservation efforts.
Tickets go on sale Sunday, June 24.
