British Music Embassy Arrives at SXSW 2008

The British Music Industry, in cooperation with the British government (sounds all official, doesn't it?), is prepping to present British Music at SXSW 2008, a partnership set to "address the changing global music business landscape." More importantly for you, it's also set to bring a load of great British bands and British music businesses to the SXSW festival under a "British Music Embassy" banner as produced by British Underground.
The central base for this new initiative will be at Latitude 30 during the fest (which this year is scheduled for March 12-16), and the campaign will be launched with the annual British BBQ at Brush Square on March 13, an event whose past guest performances have included sets by Paulo Nutini, Newton Faulkner and James Blunt.
