JAN. 19: SENNHEISER HOSTS OK GO AT HOB, NAMM 2007
Jan 16, 2007 5:36 PM
Sennheiser's Ninth Annual Dealer Appreciation Party will feature OK Go and Robert Randolph and the Family Band at the House of Blues-Anaheim during Winter NAMM 2007.
First on the bill is OK Go, a band who captured the world's attention thanks to a couple of homemade dance videos that flourished on YouTube. OK Go will use a stage full of Sennheiser Evolution Series wired and wireless microphones along with Sennheiser IEM systems, the very same microphones they tour with.
The night will culminate with the talents of steel guitarist and songwriter Robert Randolph, who Rolling Stone named as one the 100 greatest guitarists of all time. Along with his Sennheiser Evolution 935 microphone, Randolph will share the stage with his Family Band, which features his cousins Danyell Morgan and Marcus Randolph on bass and drums, respectively, and keyboardist Jason Crosby.
To attend the event, just go to the Sennheiser Booth (#6579) and ask one of the sales reps for an invitation. The party goes from 7 to 11 p.m. at the House of Blues, 1530 S. Disneyland Drive, with complimentary food, cocktails and entertainment. From the Anaheim Convention Center, it's only a 10-minute walk, a $5 cab ride or a $3 Disney shuttle ride round trip (purchase tix in advance via your hotel).
