Pharmacy Music Imprint Officially Launched

May 21, 2008 12:21 PM

U.S. DJ and producer Christopher Lawrence is launching the Pharmacy Music label this month in response to what he describes in a press release as a "glut of bad trance" flooding the marketplace. The label's first release is set to be the single "Beyond the Limit," a collaboration between Lawrence and fellow trance artist John 00 Fleming.

By creating the new imprint, Lawrence hopes to find an outlet for more quality, underground trance, as well as for younger producers who don't always receive recognition from the major dance labels. The label is set to be an all-digital label, part of Lawrence's plan to help music be more "immediate" than it used to be in the heyday of vinyl.

Pharmacy Music is sending out a call to young producers to send in their music to submit@pharmacymusic.com, and more info about the label itself can be found at www.pharmacymusic.com.
