More Groovy Details on the SXSW British Music Embassy

SXSW 2008 is coming up
quick (March 12-16), and we've got more news on the British Music Embassy,
which British music fans will be happy to hear about. Back this year with
plenty of daytime performances, nighttime showcases and networking events
highlighting all sorts of musical talent from the UK, the sub-event will kick
off with the annual British BBQ at Brush Square on March 13, which will feature
an appearance from The Rascals. Separate showcases featuring music from
Belfast, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Liverpool and other UK locales will take
place, with more than 150 UK artists making appearances, among them The
Wombats, Eilidh, Victorian English Gentlemen's Club, Make Model, The Sonic
Hearts, Driving by Night, The Young Republic, People in Planes and many more.
London-based vinyl shop Pure Groove will also have a British Music Record Store
