MASSACHUSETTS' BEST MCS REPRESENT ON "MASS-AS-A-NATION"

Massachusetts native Termanology, in a bid to help promote the state's overlooked rap talent and bring together rappers from different (and often antagonistic) scenes, has put together a 15-minute posse cut that will appear on his latest street album, Hood Politics V. With the help of manager Dan Green and DJ Statik Selektah, Term wanted to make a statement in the Boston rap scene by linking rappers that would not usually work together in normal circumstances. "Mass-as-a-Nation" starts with an introduction by DJ Statik Selektah and is followed by eight bars each from 36 rappers representing cities across the state, establishing a powerful state anthem that ensures that every voice will be heard. The track was produced by Pete Beatz and recorded by Bob Nash at Wonka Sound Studio in Lowell, Mass.
Artists featured on "Mass-as-a-Nation" include Ea$y Money, Checkmark, G-Eyez, Jaysaun, Hectic, Omega Red, Akrobatik and, of course, Termanology.
DJ Geespin premiered a sample of "Mass-as-a-Nation" July 4 on 94.5 FM. You can also listen to song now at www.repdabean.com.
