Currently at home in Sweden recording the follow-up to his debut album, Veneer, José González will treat US fans to a glimpse of forthcoming new material during a brief U.S. tour this spring. As part of the tour, he'll stop off to play the legendary Coachella festival in Indio, Calif. on April 29th
Since March 2006, González has toured North America extensively, selling out shows in every major market. He has appeared on Late Night With Conan O'Brien, The Carson Daly Show and with Zero 7 on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. González is also a featured vocalist on the Grammy-nominated Zero 7 album The Garden, appearing on four songs, including a Zero 7 rework of González' own song "Crosses."
With his crystal-clear singing voice and vibrant, classically-inspired playing, González has been hailed as one of today's most remarkable new artists. Veneer, the Swedish tunesmith's Mute Records debut (reissued April 4), captures his magical sound in its purest state.
