Manifesto: “We want to convey a sense that there is a way of approaching music that brings in more than just glamour and flash,” says label co-founder Joe Gaer. “That it can be serious, involving and fun. Though there is no musical definition for the label, the artists are quite sonically diverse; they have connections that are on other levels.”
A&R Philosophy: “We seek a different take on music that is fresh and engaging,” says Gaer. “We do accept demos, but a lot more often, we get the buzz from seeing people play live. It is always interesting to hear what people are doing.”
